# GTA 6 Soundtrack & Radio

Every song heard in a GTA 6 trailer or the Extended Look, with how we know. Rockstar has credited two of them and named no radio station at all.

*Site page on GTA6 Intel Hub. https://gta6intelhub.com/soundtrack*

Twenty-one songs have been heard in official Rockstar footage. Rockstar has put its name to two of them. Nobody outside Rockstar knows the radio stations.

21 tracks on record. Every one carries a confidence tier and a source.

Every entry verified 2 September 2026 All 21 tracks were re-checked against their sources in the same pass. [Corrections log](https://gta6intelhub.com/changelog)

## The short answer

There is no GTA 6 soundtrack yet. Rockstar has published no album, no playlist, no track list and no radio station line-up. What exists is 21 songs audible in the three videos Rockstar has released — and Rockstar has formally credited exactly 2 of them.

Those 2 are the lead songs of Trailer 1 and Trailer 2, each carrying a full song, artist, writer and label credit in the description of Rockstar’s own YouTube upload. The other 19 were identified by ear from the same footage by outlets, and Rockstar has never named any of them. The Extended Look — 14 of the tracks below — carries no music credit at all, not in the video description and not in the Newswire post announcing it.

## Every GTA 6 song heard so far

Ordered by how well established each one is, then by the footage it was heard in. Timestamps are approximate: the outlets that published them differ by a few seconds, and they refer to Rockstar’s own upload of the Extended Look.

1. **Love Is a Long Road**

   Tom Petty

   Confirmed Trailer 1

The song the whole first trailer is built on, and the only piece of GTA 6 music Rockstar has ever credited in writing at the time it aired. The description on Rockstar's own Trailer 1 upload carries the full clearance block — song, artist, writers Tom Petty and Mike Campbell, publishers, and the courtesy line for Universal Music Enterprises. Released in 1989 on Petty's solo debut Full Moon Fever; NME reported Spotify streams of it rose roughly 37,000% after the trailer.

2. **Hot Together**

   The Pointer Sisters

   Confirmed Trailer 2

Trailer 2's lead song, and the second and last track Rockstar has formally credited. Its Trailer 2 description names the song, the artist, writer Sharon Robinson, the publishers and RCA Records as the source recording. NME dates it to the 1986 album of the same name and notes the song's previous life in Spaceballs and Stakeout. Everything else audible in that trailer is background radio, credited by nobody.

Cited by Rockstar Games · NME
3. **Child Support**

   Zenglen

   Credible Trailer 2

Haitian konpa, heard on a car radio during Jason's driving montage in Trailer 2 — the clearest early signal that GTA 6's music is not going to be an eighties Vice City tribute. The featured credit is not settled between outlets: NME writes it as Zenglen & 5 Etwal, while Mashable credits Zenglen featuring Reginald Cangé. Both agree on the band and the placement.

Cited by NME · Mashable, via Yahoo Tech · PCGamesN
4. **Everybody Have Fun Tonight**

   Wang Chung

   Credible Trailer 2

One of three radio snippets audible under Trailer 2's driving montage, identified independently by NME, Mashable and PCGamesN. It is the most on-the-nose eighties needle-drop Rockstar has used for GTA 6 so far, which is exactly why it should not be mistaken for a confirmed radio station entry: Rockstar has never named it.

Cited by NME · Mashable, via Yahoo Tech · PCGamesN
5. **Talkin' to Myself Again**

   Tammy Wynette

   Credible Trailer 2

A country snippet in the same Trailer 2 montage, credited by NME, Mashable and PCGamesN. Leonida is a whole state rather than one city, and a Tammy Wynette cut sitting a few seconds away from a konpa track is the first hint in official footage that the dial is meant to cover more than Vice City itself.

Cited by NME · Mashable, via Yahoo Tech · PCGamesN
6. **Thunder Island**

   Jay Ferguson

   Credible Trailer 2

A 1977 soft-rock single heard very early in Trailer 2, before the Pointer Sisters cue takes over. PCGamesN lists it among the trailer's radio snippets and Kotaku includes it in its catalogue of GTA 6 music heard so far. Rockstar credited only Hot Together for that trailer, so this is an identification by ear rather than a stated fact — a strong one, but an identification.

   Cited by PCGamesN · Kotaku
7. **Pop Bottles**

   Birdman feat. Lil Wayne

Credible Extended Look from approx. 0:08

Opens the Extended Look, playing as Jason and Lucia approach the drug den at the start of the raid sequence. Four outlets identified it independently. Rockstar published no music credits for the Extended Look at all — not in the video description, not in the Newswire post — so everything from that video sits one tier below the two trailer lead songs.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice
8. **Pound Town**

   Sexyy Red & Tay Keith

Credible Extended Look from approx. 0:50

Heard on a stereo inside the building as the two protagonists enter, according to Game Rant's scene-by-scene breakdown. Listed by GamesRadar+, Game Rant, Vice and SVG. Mashable's shorter round-up of the same footage omits it, which is a fair illustration of how these lists are assembled: by ear, from a compressed stream, with background cues easy to miss.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
9. **Skrilla**

   Kodak Black

Credible Extended Look from approx. 1:46

Playing in the corridor after the elevator, in the run-up to the raid going wrong. Identified by GamesRadar+, Game Rant and Vice, all of whom place it in the same stretch of the Extended Look. Kodak Black is a Florida artist, which fits the pattern of Leonida-local acts in the newer material rather than the period pieces.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice
10. **Cars and Girls**

    Prefab Sprout

Credible Extended Look from approx. 10:42

Picks up after the interrogation scene cuts back to Jason and Lucia talking with Brian and Lori. Listed by GamesRadar+, Game Rant, Vice and SVG, with the two timestamped breakdowns differing by three seconds on where it starts — which is why the times on this page are given as approximate.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
11. **Off the Grid**

!!! (Chk Chk Chk) feat. Meah Pace

Credible Extended Look from approx. 12:25

Comes in over driving footage after the conversation with Brian ends. GamesRadar+, Game Rant, Vice and SVG all have it; Mashable's list does not, another background cue that one round-up missed.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
12. **Devil Woman**

    Cliff Richard

Credible Extended Look from approx. 16:49

Plays after the police chase, over the longest uninterrupted music stretch in the Extended Look — close to three minutes by Game Rant's reckoning. Kotaku, writing about the leaked footage rather than this video, used it as its example of why none of this is a guarantee: songs heard before release can still fall out of the game.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
13. **Se Me Nota (Agarrame)**

    Chimbala & Omega

Credible Extended Look from approx. 20:10

Dominican dembow, starting as Jason gets back in the car after the airport pickup. The artist credit varies: most outlets write it as Chimbala x Omega, while Mashable adds producer B-One and Dexerto notes the production credit separately. Everyone agrees on the track and the scene.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · Mashable, via Yahoo Tech
14. **Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)**

    Phil Collins

Credible Extended Look from approx. 21:37

Heard quietly in the MegaMundo building, an elevator-music placement that several outlets singled out. Phil Collins has history here: his music appeared in Vice City and Vice City Stories, and he appeared as himself in the latter, so a Collins track in a Vice City game reads as deliberate rather than incidental.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
15. **Mine O' Mine**

    Aluna & Jayda G

Credible Extended Look from approx. 22:03

Playing in the hallway as Jason heads for the conference room. One of two dance tracks in the Extended Look, both from the last few years, both from artists on the club side rather than the pop charts. Identified by GamesRadar+, Game Rant, Vice and SVG.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
16. **Inner Light**

    Elderbrook & Bob Moses

Credible Extended Look from approx. 25:44

Closes the Extended Look, running under the final monologue and the last shots. GamesRadar+, Game Rant, SVG and Mashable list it; Vice's round-up stops one track short. The closing cue of a Rockstar reveal is usually a deliberate choice rather than background, which makes its absence from Rockstar's own credits more conspicuous than most.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · SVG · Mashable, via Yahoo Tech
17. **Let Your Love Flow**

    The Bellamy Brothers

Credible Extended Look from approx. 6:00

Comes in as the footage cuts from the shootout to open-world driving and a carjacking, per Game Rant's timestamped breakdown. GamesRadar+, Vice and SVG list it too. Notable mostly for the tonal whiplash — Rockstar cuts from a firefight straight into 1976 soft country.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice
18. **Love Bites**

    Def Leppard

Credible Extended Look from approx. 6:43

Playing inside Jason and Lucia's apartment. Four outlets place it in the same scene. Whether it is diegetic — an in-world radio playing in the room — or trailer scoring is not something the footage settles, and it matters, because only the first would imply a station.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
19. **People Are People**

    Depeche Mode

Credible Extended Look from approx. 8:21

Game Rant places this one on the car radio as the pair leave their apartment and drive off, which makes it one of the few Extended Look tracks anyone has described as clearly diegetic. Also listed by GamesRadar+, Vice and SVG.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
20. **But I Think It's a Dream**

    Captain & Tennille

Credible Extended Look from approx. 9:50

Runs under the drive out to meet Brian and Lori. A deep cut rather than a hit, which is a long-running habit of Rockstar's music team and one reason these round-ups take a day to settle. Identified by GamesRadar+, Game Rant, Vice and SVG.

Cited by GamesRadar+ · Game Rant · Vice · SVG
21. **I Love Rock 'n' Roll**

Disputed — The Arrows (1975) or Joan Jett & the Blackhearts (1982)

    Rumour Trailer 2

Widely listed by fan sites as a confirmed Trailer 2 track, heard under the Ammu-Nation commercial. It is not confirmed. Dexerto reports it as rumoured and notes that fans cannot agree on which recording it is, while Kotaku files it under Joan Jett and the Blackhearts in a list that mixes trailer audio with leaked footage. Recorded here as unresolved rather than dropped, because a lot of sites publish it as fact.

    Cited by Dexerto · Kotaku

Nothing matches that combination. Clear a filter to widen the net.

Two songs commonly listed elsewhere are missing on purpose. An original GTA 6 theme credited to DRÆVEN, and a Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Justo Betancourt and Papo Lucca recording said to appear in the Extended Look, were each named by a single outlet and omitted by every other round-up of the same footage. One outlet is not enough for a claim this checkable, so they stay off the list until a second one confirms them.

## What about the GTA 6 radio stations?

Rockstar has not named one. Not a single station, anywhere. The official Grand Theft Auto VI site does not use the words “radio” or “music” on it. The Newswire post announcing the Extended Look describes the video and the release date and nothing about its soundtrack. The only music Rockstar has ever put in writing for this game is the two trailer credit blocks.

That is unusual only if you expect it early. It is not what Rockstar does: for GTA 5, the station count and song count landed roughly three weeks before launch, through a Rolling Stone interview with soundtrack supervisor Ivan Pavlovich. GTA 5 shipped with 240 licensed songs across 15 music stations and two talk stations. If GTA 6 follows the same pattern, the real dial becomes public in late October or early November 2026 — not now.

Rumour

### Station names seen only in leaked footage

Kotaku catalogued these station names from unauthorised recordings of a pre-release build. None of them has been stated by Rockstar, none appears in the Extended Look, and stations and playlists routinely change before a game ships. Treat the list as an indication of what was in a development build, not as the launch line-up.

- V-Rock
- Emotion 98.3
- Kaleidoscope FM
- Worldwide FM
- Cocoteo FM
- Radio ON-U
- Symphony FM
- Back Country Radio
- Stockyard FM
- Dirty South Classics
- Circo Loco Records Radio
- The Wipe
- La Ola
- The Chamber 106.6

14 names, none confirmed. This block is replaced with the real dial the day Rockstar publishes one.

### The two things people mistake for confirmation

**The V-Rock shirt.** Jason wears a faded V-Rock logo in Trailer 2, and it is widely read as the Vice City station returning. It is a nod. Every Grand Theft Auto is covered in fictional brands that never become playable features, and a T-shirt is not an announcement.

**CircoLoco Records.** Rockstar genuinely co-founded a dance label with the Ibiza club brand CircoLoco in May 2021, and a CircoLoco station name shows up in the leaked footage. That makes a station plausible — Rockstar owning a label is a real reason to expect one — but plausible is not confirmed, and the only evidence that it exists in GTA 6 is the same unauthorised recording as everything else.

### Does a trailer song mean an in-game radio song?

Not automatically. Synchronising a track to a trailer and putting it on a station a player can leave running for forty hours are separate licences, negotiated separately, and Rockstar has used songs in marketing that never appeared on a station. Some of the Extended Look tracks are described by outlets as playing on a car radio or a stereo inside the world, which is a stronger signal than a scored montage. It is still an inference from edited footage. Nothing on this page should be read as a station tracklist, because no station tracklist exists.

## What lands here at launch

- The real station list, with the genre and host of each one, as soon as Rockstar publishes it or the game is in hands that can check.
- Every track above re-tiered against the shipped game: which ones are actually on the radio, which were trailer-only, and which never made it in at all.
- Station-by-station tracklists, built from the game rather than from leaked footage. Still no audio, and still no lyrics.

## Frequently asked

**Has Rockstar released the GTA 6 soundtrack?**

No. As of 2 September 2026 there is no GTA 6 soundtrack album, no official playlist and no published track list. Rockstar has credited exactly two songs — Love Is a Long Road by Tom Petty in Trailer 1 and Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters in Trailer 2 — in the descriptions of its own trailer uploads. Everything else on this page was identified by ear from official footage by outlets, not stated by Rockstar.

**What songs are confirmed for GTA 6?**

Two are confirmed in the strict sense: Love Is a Long Road by Tom Petty and Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, both credited by Rockstar in writing. A further eighteen have been identified in official footage by multiple reputable outlets and are listed here as credible — four more from Trailer 2, and fourteen from the Extended Look. One, the I Love Rock ’n’ Roll snippet under the Ammu-Nation commercial, is still a rumour: outlets cannot agree on which recording it is.

**What are the GTA 6 radio stations?**

Unknown. Rockstar has never named a single GTA 6 radio station. The station names circulating online — V-Rock, Emotion 98.3, Kaleidoscope FM and others — come from unauthorised recordings of a pre-release build catalogued by Kotaku in August 2026, not from Rockstar. Any site presenting that list as confirmed is presenting leaked development material as fact.

**Will V-Rock return in GTA 6?**

Not confirmed. V-Rock appears in the leaked station names, and Trailer 2 shows Jason wearing a faded V-Rock shirt, which is a nod rather than an announcement — Rockstar puts fictional brands on clothing constantly without shipping the thing. A returning station is a reasonable expectation given the Vice City setting. It is not a fact yet.

**How many radio stations will GTA 6 have?**

Rockstar has not said. For precedent: GTA 5 shipped in 2013 with 240 licensed songs across 15 music stations plus two talk stations, and Rockstar revealed those numbers roughly three weeks before launch, through Rolling Stone. If GTA 6 follows the same pattern, the real station list arrives in late October or early November 2026 rather than now.

**Does a song in a GTA 6 trailer mean it is on the in-game radio?**

Not necessarily. Trailer synchronisation and in-game radio are separate licences, and Rockstar has used songs in marketing that were not on any station. Several Extended Look tracks are described by outlets as playing on a car radio or a stereo inside the world, which is a stronger signal — but the footage is edited, and none of it has been stated by Rockstar.

**Where can I listen to the GTA 6 songs?**

On whichever licensed music service you already use. This site hosts no audio and links to none: streaming or embedding licensed recordings without a licence is infringement, and a site whose only asset is being trustworthy should not be doing it. The track titles and artists on this page are enough to find any of them.
