Criminal Profile, GTA's Take on Red Dead's Honor

GTA 6's Criminal Profile system tracks how Jason and Lucia behave and signals approval or disapproval with small angel and devil popups, which PC Gamer and GameSpot both compare directly to Red Dead Redemption 2's Honor system. Eurogamer, drawing on Rob Nelson's comments to IGN, reports the key difference is context: you are not penalized for defending yourself or firing back at pursuers, only for escalating unnecessarily and consistently, and Nelson stresses there is "no right or wrong way to play this game". Petting a dog counts as good; needless violence does not.
