How we decide what counts as a fact

Every entry must declare at least one source, and each source must record its title, its outlet, its URL, and the date that source published. No exceptions, no "according to reports", no unattributed assertions.

• We link the original, not the aggregator. If an outlet is summarising someone else's reporting, the original is the source. Ten sites repeating one story is one source, not ten.
• Primary material outranks commentary. Where a claim can be checked against a trailer frame or an official listing, that is what gets cited.
• Sources are named even when they are weak. A rumour sourced to an anonymous forum post is cited to that post, so you can judge it yourself rather than taking our word for it.
• Dead links are replaced, not deleted. If a source vanishes, the entry is re-verified against something that still exists, or the tier is lowered.

Facts about an unreleased game go stale quickly, and a page with no date is a page you cannot trust. Every entry therefore shows two things: when it was published, and when it was last verified.

• News and database entries are re-checked when new official material lands.
• Re-verification updates the last-verified date whether or not the fact changed — "we checked this and it still holds" is useful information.
• When something becomes obsolete, it is marked obsolete rather than deleted, so the record of what was believed and when remains readable.

This site will get things wrong. The commitment is not that it never happens — it is what happens next.

Every correction is recorded in the public corrections log, with the date, what was published, what is actually right, and how we know. A policy you can read is worth less than a record you can check.

1. Corrections are made in place, with a dated note. The erroneous claim is fixed and a correction line is appended saying what was wrong and when it was fixed. Pages are not silently rewritten, and they are not deleted to make a mistake disappear.
2. The tier and the last-verified date are updated alongside the text, so the record stays internally consistent.
3. Significant errors are acknowledged in the news feed, not just buried on the page nobody revisits.
4. Anyone can trigger this. You do not need standing, a credential, or a polite tone. Send the URL and the contradicting source.

Corrections go to corrections@gta6intelhub.com. Reasonable requests are actioned quickly; where a claim is contested rather than plainly wrong, the entry is re-tiered to reflect the dispute.

This site does not host, mirror, embed, or link to leaked builds, stolen footage, or datamined assets from unreleased software. That is a settled position, not a case-by-case judgement.

What it will do is report that a leak is being discussed, describe what is claimed, and tier that reporting honestly — usually Rumour, since an unverifiable file is not evidence. Describing a phenomenon is not the same as distributing the material.

Automated tooling is used to find things: scripts monitor public feeds and surface candidate items worth looking at. That is the whole of its role.

• A human reads the source, assigns the confidence tier, and decides whether anything gets published. No entry is auto-published.
• Nothing on this site is a machine-generated summary of a source it has not been checked against. Where AI assistance is used in drafting, the facts still have to survive the same sourcing requirement as everything else.
• AI crawlers are deliberately allowed to read this site (see robots.txt and llms.txt), because the point of labelling certainty is defeated if the assistants answering "is GTA 6 delayed?" cannot see the label.

As of 29 August 2026, this site earns no money. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsorships, no paid placements, and no paid newsletter. If you are reading a version of this page that still says that, it is still true.

If and when that changes, these rules apply and are not negotiable:

• Affiliate links are disclosed on the page that contains them, in the body text, before the link — not in a footer nobody reads. They will also carry rel="sponsored".
• No commercial arrangement can change a confidence tier, alter a verdict, or buy the removal of an unflattering entry. The tier is set by the evidence, full stop.
• Sponsored content, if it ever exists, is labelled sponsored at the top of the page and excluded from the databases entirely.
• No pay-to-play rankings. Nothing here is ordered by who paid.
• Editorial decisions are not shown to advertisers in advance.

If any of that ever stops being true, this page changes first — and it changes before the money arrives, not after.
